Senior IT Auditor – Hitachi Energy As the Senior IT Auditor, you will conduct complex IT / Cybersecurity and SAP audits, design improvement initiatives, and support special reviews requested by senior management. We look forward to your application! How You’ll Make An Impact Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT and Cybersecurity audit universe and risk control matrix. Participate in global IT and Cybersecurity risk assessments and propose inputs to the audit plan. Collaborate with IT/Cybersecurity/SAP communities, internal audit, ERM, and internal control teams to ensure robust risk assessment and control frameworks. Participate in IT/Cybersecurity/SAP audits, special request audits, process reviews and follow‑up audits. Contribute to individual IT/Cybersecurity/SAP audit plans and planning documentation specific to engagement needs. Recognize cultural and business differences across locations and recommend optimal solutions to strengthen controls and improve efficiency. Propose innovative audit processes and new ideas for reviewing risk and control issues. Support compliance efforts, including technical knowledge support and testing of controls. Maintain and improve technical expertise and business awareness by staying abreast of IT, IT Security, Cybersecurity and internal audit standards. Your Background Bachelor’s degree in information technologies, Business Administration, Finance, Management or Engineering. Minimum 5 years of prior experience in external or internal IT audit. Experience interacting with senior management and building strong relationships globally; leadership qualities and ability to work independently. Experience working with diverse backgrounds, respecting cultural differences. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred; other certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CIA) considered a plus. Awareness and understanding of IT/Cybersecurity standards such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO/IEC 27000. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence, negotiate, and challenge at senior level. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access); SAP skills a plus. Willingness to travel globally (30%).
